Today I have have been in a concert at the Komische Oper Berlin. They played a fantasy overture for Romeo and Julia by Tschaikowski followed by the Kammersinfonie of Franz Schreker. It was the first time I heard something of Franz Schreker and I liked it very much. Especially the part with the harmonium.
But the reason for me to visit this concert was because I wanted to listen to Daniel Lozakovich, a Swedish violin player, who is just 16 years old. After the interval he played the violin concert of Tschaikowski. He was amazing! No show just a wonderfully played concert. He was definitely worth the travel to Berlin. Here is another piece of him.
