Gershwin Piano Quartet were fantastic!

I have just been to a concert and it was simply fantastic! I heard the Gershwin Piano Quartet in the Brahmssaal of Vienna Musikverein.

For all who have never heard of them – I hadn’t until I read about them in the progeam – I copy a link below. They play on 4 pianos. Now the stage of the Brahmssaal is very small and the pianos just fit in.

The music was amazing. They played Rhapsody in Blue – and I have never heard it arranged for 4 pianos yet. They played Tschaikowski, Prokofjew and even Michael Jackson and more.

Not only did id they play the piano they also used it like a guitar and did other things to make them sound very different.

I can only recommend: go and see and listen to them! They are incredible. Now here is another piece of Gershwin from them, I got rhythm.
