Today I have been to a concert 😊 An entirely different concert to the one I have missed on Monday. On Monday I would have heard Nora Fischer a rising star and certainly a brilliant soprano. I have just been too tired to enjoy the concert.
Today I heard „private Bach“, referring to the songs he had written to sing in private together with the family. The concert was performed in the Mozartsaal of Vienna Konzerthaus. It is the midsize hall of the Konzerthaus and one of the most beautiful concert halls I have seen so far.
The concert was performed by the singers Anna Lucia Richter and Georg Nigl and musicians at the cembalo, viola da gamba, and lute. Mrs. Richter was exceptional. She sang effortless with a very clear voice. The others were also very good. Unfortunately I found the music boring. I was not moved at all. The rest of the audience seemed to have been delighted, but I was not.
