Serenade in the Green

Yesterday I have been to a concert of Dresdner Kreuzchor (boys choir) in the Garden of Pillnitz Palace. Every year they will sing there and the program is lighter than when they sing in the Kreuzkirche.

Typically they sing traditional folk songs even pop songs, arranged for the choir. It was quite nice yesterday, nothing exceptional, though. The choir was conducted by Wolfgang Behrend, the new choirmaster, because the cantor is on sick leave.
