Bach did not touch me

Today’s concert completes my concert marathon. I have been in the Konzerthaus and listened to Pygmalion playing Bach.

That were 4 cantatas and the third Brandenburgisches Konzert. While the Brandenburgische Konzert was excellent 3 of the cantatas did not attract me so much.

I have heard quite a few Bach cantatas in the meantime but I am not really into them. And also today it was not the case that the orchestra, the choir or the solists weren’t good – in contrary they were excellent – but the music did not touch me.
