Spaghetti Western in the Opera

Yesterday I have seen a spaghetti western in the opera – actually it was just a western, but since they sung in Italian we declared it spaghetti western. It was „La fanciulla del west“ of Puccini.

The production was quite funny as they indeed imitated a western movie from the fifties or sixties. And the singers and orchestra was brillant!
