Today I have been to the English Theatre in Frankfurt again seeing Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde as a musical.
As some of you may know I am not too much a fan of musicals. And again some of the music was very musical-like. But nevertheless I enjoyed this piece and production very much. The cast was exceptional!
It wasn’t the first time I have been to this theater (but it was the first musical I have seen there) and I was never disappointed so far. Their voices were nearly all very good and the acting was brilliant. Very emotional at times.
Some of the actors were also part of the band and the whole band was doing a wonderful job. The music was a bit too loud but that may have been due to the fact we were sitting in the first row.
The set was also very atmospheric. It reminded me of pieces I have seen in London. So we have a little bit of London in the middle of Frankfurt. 😊
The music piece that I liked most is „Murder“. I found it on Youtube (not the Frankfurt production).
