Billy Elliot dances in Vienna

My second visit to one of Vienna’s music stages was today. I went to the Volksoper to see the Wiener Staatsballet.

On were three pieces of Strawinsky, Petruschka, Movements to Strawinsky (a collection of his music) and „Der Feuervogel“. It got better with each piece and I enjoyed especially the last piece very much.

My personal highlight was to see one of the former performers of Billy Elliot on stage again. Scott McKenzie is now a brilliant dancer of the Staatsballet. Still quite young but a great talent who will certainly become soloist and I do hope to catch him more often on stage!
